Review of Easier with Practice (2009) by Josh H — 14 Apr 2010
Film number two at the WI Film Fest and it was even better than the first. Brian Geraghty's performance had me grimacing and covering my face during the horribly awkward moments and had me cringing when it became even more socially weird. He did a spectacular job capturing the mannerisms and characteristics of a completely socially inept author.
I was pulled into his interesting relationship with a random stranger seeking phone sex and the ways it affected his real-life relationships. In some ways it was weird because his phone sex relationship seemed to be more real for him than his real ones.
The ending was quite a surprise in terms of the story and in terms of how it was acted and implemented on the screen. Jeff and I both loved this flick.
