Review of Dracula (1958) by Mark H — 10 Jun 2007
The best Dracula movie - the casting is perfect. Not faithful to the novel, but adapted perfectly for the big screen. The vibrant colour and lush soundtrack add to the period feel. Lee IS Dracula. Cushing IS Van Helsing, and they repeated the role many times later in their careers.
You don't forget Dracula, once you've seen him angry!
