Review of Downfall (1997) by Lord N — 04 Feb 2010
A brilliant and brutal film about the last days of the Third Reich. the actor who played Hitler was absolutely brilliant at it. there were some just horrifying moments. such as when the two teenagers who are fighting the Russians for the Germans commit suicide rather than be captured, and the scene where Frau Goebbels kills her children with poison pills one by one as they sleep.
but, despite all that the one thing people will remember about this movie is "Sir the Cowboys lost" ...... "everyone who is a Giants fan please leave now" ..... "THEY DID IT AGAIN! THOSE STUPID M********** DID IT AGAIN! THEY"RE S*** THEY HAVEN'T WON A PLAYOFF GAME IN 11 YEARS!!!!" yep.
despite the greatness of the movie. that is the only thing people remember or in most cases even know about the movie.
