Review of Down by Law (1986) by Pavandeep S — 26 Aug 2007
What a brilliant film, I absolutly love Tom Wait's music and to see this brilliant film, a well-done film of a relationship three man build up in prison even though they were screwed over in getting there.
I just loved the dialogue at times, it's very different and yet stylish, the way the Italian asks questions and talks, in that very naive and unassuming manner, believing them to be their friends and that belief, which sorts of gets answered spurring him on, for he doesn't like loneliness, I don't know, it's a very typical character development, seeing people back-stabbed and landing in prison but the structure was totally unique, never do we see the break-out and never do we see what they do at the grounds and all that.
A well done narrative.
