This might be Jarmusch's best movie. Tom Waits is a treat to watch. Roberto Benigni steals the show as Roberto/Bob. With numerous wonderful and memorable scenes, excellent b&w cinematography, and an excellent soundtrack by co-star John Lurie, this film-noir fairy tale is a true gem in the art of film.
