"I couldn't hear my own footsteps... it was the walk of a dead man" Boy this flick is the ultimate "dark comedy". It's pretty much night all the time and even when it isn't, there are shadows everywhere.
Filled with tons of sarcastic one liners that always make me laugh uneasily. Stanwyck is the slickest femme fatale I've seen. I'm afraid of her. I love to be afraid.
