Review of Dog Day Afternoon (1975) by Victor L — 22 Oct 2011
Another Sidney Lumet masterpiece with terrific performances by Pacino, Cazale and Sarandon, and a great screenplay that doesn't let the film lose interest despite almost the whole movie happens in no more than 4 or 5 sets, being the bank the main.
Impressive classic that has definitely aged better than One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, the film that unfairly won the Oscar for Best Picture that year.
