Review of Diary of the Dead (2007) by Eric H — 17 Mar 2013
In a time where most young film-makers are remaking horror movies, or cramming them with extreme violence, Romero has shown them you don't have to do that. Like last years 28 Weeks Later, this has more intelligence than most horror movies (and for that matter a lot of bigger budgeted movies).
It is scary, thought-provoking, clever and possibly the best horror movie for quite sometime.
