Review of Dementia 13 (1963) by Dave S — 10 Apr 2010
Let me ax you something. Would you like to see a low-budget b&w thriller set at a creepy old castle? With a chick swimming in it's yucky pond? In her undies? Then Dementia 13 is for you.
Everybody knows Francis Ford Coppola directed it. Did you know Rodger Corman produced it and Patrick Mageewas acted?
A must see if you enjoy these types of movies. It was a little boring and predictable. I had a hard time connecting with the characters. But that's o.k. some parts were thrilling and kind of humorous.
It was double billed with Corman's "X: The Man with the X-Ray Eyes". So, if you need another cult film under your belt ...watch Dementia 13 and move on the next one.
