Review of Deadgirl (2008) by Simon R — 11 Oct 2009
Alright, kids. Truth be told I kind of had a hard time with this one. You've got two teenage douchebags who find a dead girl (did ja see what I did there?!) tied to a gurney in an abandoned mental hospital. Turns out she isn't dead...but not quite alive either.
The story reminds me a bit of Re-Animator. One wants to have some fun with her (and goes mad in the process), the other wants to do the right thing and report it. But it wouldn't be a movie if things didn't get more complicated than that.
Overall inventive and a bit hilarious. Not for the novices though.
