Review of Dead Heat (1988) by Zoran S — 03 Jun 2010
Re-Animator and Lethal Weapon's love child. This one went over the radar, when it's was release, but kicks major ass, yet still haven't found a proper afterlife as a cult classic. Treat Williams and Joe Piscopo do the buddy cop routine very well and despite the insanity, gore, one-liners and the fact that Piscopo can't act.
Never drag (83 minutes, including credits), except when Piscope is trying to act. Dead Heat is a b-movie in every sense.
