There is a surprising lack of titles in the action horror genre. Daylight's End is a welcome addition to anyone that's a fan. The good news is that there is plenty of action in this modest budget effort, some of it is actually really good.
The bad news is that the action is very repetitive. It wants to be Mad Max meets 28 Days Later and it basically is. But, with no interesting plot points to break up the monotonous action your left feeling empty.
I can only recommend this title to hardcore action/horror fans. If you are looking for a movie with plot or depth you'll have to look somewhere else.
