Review of Dark Moon Rising (2009) by Chris A — 26 May 2011
Really, a ripped werewolf? The only thing more ridiculous are the nipples on the batman suit. This movie was as hilarious as it was ridiculous. I like movie about werewolves, so I was looking for to this.
But, there is only stereotypical characters in a stereotypical small town with a stereotypical outsider with an even more stereotypical threat on its way. At the confrontation between the young werewolf and the old werewolf, the young werewolf said "f**k you", and the old werewolf replied "f**k you - harder.
" At least the film makers had the decency to make the old werewolf's fur gray (perhaps to look distinguished?) and the young werewolf's fur black (although, it was kind of hard to tell who was who at times because of the lighting and the action).
I give this movie a 20% because it is something to watch when you're bored - and, let's face it, there are load more movies that you wouldn't watch even when you're bored.
