Review of Dark Horse (2012) by Gabo A — 21 Jan 2013
Hard to dis one of the most original and unflinching directors in modern cinema, but Dark Horse has to be Todd Solondz first big misstep. It's not just that much of it doesn't make sense, or that it's a sloppy mess, but it's almost a parody of Solondz's films.
A bad one. That said, it's still better than 90% of what's out there these days. So if you're going to see a disappointing film, see this one.
