Review of Cosmopolis (2012) by Ray B — 11 Nov 2012
As a massive fan of Don DeLillo's work I have to say that whether or not this is your cup of tea David Cronenberg has done an exceptional job at adapting the novel and I can't think of any other director that could have taken on such material and done it justice.
Robbert Pattison plays the lead role perfectly and the supporting cast are great too. Just like DeLillo's writing the film is uncompromising in its darkly comic critique of modern America and it certainly won't appeal to a large audience but for anyone who enjoys cult cinema and risqué filmmaking then I highly recommend this.
