Review of Control (2007) by Kate L — 07 Apr 2009
This is a beautifully lensed film, and Sam Riley's portrayal of Ian Curtis is outstanding, in fact all the cast are wonderful in this. Until I saw the credits at the end I didn't realise that Deborah Curtis had co-produced the film which makes it stand out even more as it's an incredibly touching and unbiased account of the Ian Curtis' time on this earth from a woman who was hurt so much by the man she loved.
