Review of Confidence (2003) by Steven F — 07 Oct 2008
Way smarter than Italian Job, which it opposed in the theatres with similar release dates. James Foley use of color reminds me so much of Glengarry Glenross which so beautifully made static, boring scenes alive with drama and life.
Edward Burns character is one of my favorites, certainly of his roles and of motion pictures as a whole. Watch the IFC Anatomy of a Scene for this movie.
