Review of Cinema Paradiso (1988) by Kim C — 31 May 2009
A true movie lover cannot afford to miss this. A fantastic love letter to the movies and to life. The director's cut ties up a lot more loose ends (by restoring 51 minutes to the film), but I actually prefer the theatrical cut.
Maybe this film is too unabashedly sentimental, but it made me fall in love. "Cinema Paradiso" is one of those special magical movies that is utterly unforgettable.
