Review of Chocolat (2000) by Ruba E — 03 Oct 2009
A nice tale of a woman and her daughter who move to a village where she opens a chocolate shop where she finds herself hated by the mayor and so he and the rest of his town boycott her and the shop (simply because the townspeople are the type that like to have the same routine with nothing new and they don't like the fact of a woman with no father for her child staying with them).
It's a sweet and delightful movie to watch ; since i'm addicted to chocolate I just had to love this film + it has Johnny Depp in a very small role as the gypsy who is one of the few who befriends the mother since the gypsies are rejected by the village too.
