This is not a bad movie by any means, but I did catch myself getting bored at certain parts. The performances given by Andy (Gabe Bateman) and Karen (Aubrey Plaza) are impressive. Chucky is innocently menacing.
There are some genuine scares where the theater jumped as well. Some may consider this film a love letter to 80s horror fans.
