Review of Bullet Boy (2004) by Chris K — 02 Aug 2007
Fantastic snapshot of the realities of the gang culture in a deprived urban environment. Much better than the scare mongering Kidulthood and a film that most can relate to. Asher D is our Tupac and the film's strong anti-gun message coupled with emphatic family values give it an extra edge and credibility.
A gem.
