Pretty bad. The adult characters in this movie (especially the parents) are unbelievably selfish and completely unlikeable. Many parts of the movie were obviously stolen from Ma Vie En Rose (a much better film) and dumbed down to suit American audiences.
The lines that were written for the child characters were too mature and unrealistic...it honestly doesn't seem like the writers have any idea as to what children are like.
