Review of Brown's Requiem (1998) by Ben B — 04 Jul 2007
A very average adaptation of Ellroy's novel, the film threw me a bit by being set in modern day rather than Ellroy's customary 50's Hollywood.
This film is a decent effort, but still left me wanting the period feel that the material deserved.
Worth a rental.
