Review of Branded to Kill (1967) by Aaron L — 20 Dec 2007
An extremely surreal movie that I seem to like more the more I watch it. The plot of Branded to Kill really isn't as essential an element as the cinematography, which is to say that the complexity of the film comes not from intricacies in the story but in how that story is told.
The truly brilliant scenes suggest the plot rather than explain it, which can be confusing at times but is ultimately more rewarding.
