Review of Brake (2012) by Elian D — 14 Jul 2012
If this came out before Buried I would have liked it a lot more. If it didn't have 2 Shamalan twists at the end I would have liked it even even more. Steven Dorff reminded me he could actually recite dialogue, the last film I saw him in was Somewhere, he did great being regulated to a glass box for an hour and 20 minutes.
Still, Gabe Torres tries way to hard to mix Sam Fisher (Splinter Cell video games, or you can go with a 24 tv show comparison too) with a buried alive feel which at the end you feel like too exhausted to care.
