The film looked like it might be fun when I read the box...and it was. It starts a little slow, but as the characters and the plot develop you find yourself becoming more and more involved. It's really a typically American movie, i.
E. underdog makes good--but instead of sports, or academia or business being the the vehicle, this time it's wine making. The only think I would have changed would be to increase the time given to developing the Alan Rickman/Dennis Farina friendship, which we only see bits and pieces of.
