Review of Blue Jay (2016) by Margarita S — 20 Feb 2017
This a lovely gem of a film. The nostalgia and naturalism between Jim (Duplass) and Amanda (Paulson) had me hooked. Their incredible chemistry and believability tempered what could've easily been an excessively dramatic "big reveal".
The first film in a long time that's made me both laugh and cry. I ached for them. One I'd rewatch again.
