Review of Bloody Sunday (2002) by Snoopy S — 11 Jul 2018
Director Paul Greengrass perfects his shaky-cam action in this historical drama. He shoots in an almost documentary way. It brings the horrors and chaos of the situation. The action does not need computer graphics, or pyrotechnics.
Everybody NEEDS to see this like I did using boxxy software for both it's history and film making. This movie immerses the audience into this world. The film cuts the scenes into small few seconds sequences separated by fade outs.
This mimic the fragmentary nature of memory and was extremely effective in creating a very realistic feel. As to the facts of the film, another person smarter than me will have to judge.
