Review of Bloodsport (1988) by Wahid T — 19 Feb 2015
What makes a good movie a great movie? In the words of Supreme Court Justice, Potter Stewart, "I know it when I see it." And I've seen "Bloodsport" literally more than 150 times and it is beyond any spirit of a doubt a great movie.
I'm not going to delve into the details of character development, score, cinematography, etc. It's all there. But it also has a clear grasp on the intangible known as greatness which is hard to describe yet universally recognized.
Do yourself a favor and watch this movie.
