Review of Blood and Black Lace (1964) by Dan B — 27 Dec 2010
Seminal(ish) thriller thatâ(TM)s credited with sparking a whole genre, though like many of Bava's other movies (and, indeed, those of his cinematic progeny) it's a triumph of style over substance.
However, if youâ(TM)re a fan of what came after, this is pretty much worth seeing just for the colour schemes and decors alone.
