Review of Blackthorn (2011) by Kyle G — 07 May 2012
I am a huge Sam Shepard fan so for his leading part in the movie, I'd give his acting and role a 5 but there was a considerable amount of unneeded profanity that didn't add anything to the movie and precluded a lot of Christian would-be fans from watching it.
The ending was disappointing because you never know if Butch made it back home to the USA or not. For Sam Shepard fans, Purgatory was a much better movie.
