Review of Black Dog (1998) by Nick W — 26 Aug 2007
The pinnacle of all trucker movies. A clever twisting plot driven by a quick, intellegent script which is surpassed only by the mesmorising performance of Swayze in his best ever role. Meat Loaf's supporting role wasn't recognised by the critics or the academy awards, but surely this was an oversight, his empathic performance is timeless.
IF you haven't seen the Black Dog, you haven't been driving long enough.
