Falsely advertised as a horror flick, this period piece set in the time of the Black Plague is extremely well written and intelligent. A band of knights are sent to investigate a town that is seemingly untouched by the plague however not everything is as it appears to be.
This provocative film explores religion and loyalty in ways one would never come to expect from a horror film.
