Review of Below (2002) by Andrew C — 03 Nov 2009
This movie kept me on the edge of my seat. Twohy is a brilliant writer and I love that his scripts keep me guessing. I have yet to be disappointed by him. I didn't see any of the twists coming in this thing and that's a win for me.
That said, there's a brilliant cast here who are probably more well known today (Zack Galifinakis? WTF?) and the WW2 setting adds to the atmosphere. This is a claustrophobic horror-mystery-thriller with decent characters. It's probably something I'll never watch again, but I won't soon forget either.
