Review of Beautiful Kate (2009) by Katrina S — 27 Oct 2009
So australian.
Its brilliant to see the number of fabulous australian movies that are coming out. The theme is quite confronting, but the way that characters are developed and portrayed allows the viewer a chance to gain some kind of comprehension into their often disturbing behaviour. Gorgeous scenery and cinematography. A very rough and true to life portrayal of a family learning to accept the fate of a dying father and trying to overcome haunting memories of family members lost. Simply stunning.
