This holds a high place in my heart as the film that made me want to be a cinematographer. While not known for it's photography, the film showcases what a solid DOP can do by just supporting the actors and director with simple and effective lighting.
Drama is achieved through a very conscious decision to shape the performances in beautiful naturalistic light.
