Review of Beautiful Boy (2011) by Alec B — 03 Nov 2011
A compelling movie that reminded me a bit of the great Sissy Spacek film 'In the Bedroom', where a tragedy sets off recriminations and regrets between a couple, albeit in this case, also a lot of media attention.
I've often thought about the families, when someone is involved in a violent act that is all over the news. This movie attempts to give us a glimpse into that hell. Great acting by both leads.
