Review of Batman: Bad Blood (2016) by James R — 28 Jun 2016
A fine story that presents a very good new breakout character (Kathy Kane) in an already established universe. Although if I were to make a Batfamily movie I would not have chosen this characters (especially Batwing) over the far more important Tim Drake, Barbara Gordon or Cassandra Cain.
The only moment of the film were I was truly excited was Batgirl's cameo at the end, it's such a shame that it was only that, a cameo. Also, it was a little confusing that, although this representation of Talia is more faithfull to the modern comics, it is completely different from the previous appearence of Talia in the movie Son of Batman.
In conclusion, it is a fine new entry in the New 52 Batman saga but they (all of the new movies since the Flashpoint Pardox) all are far from the best DC Animated Movies like Under The Red Hood and Year One.
Undoubtly the best about this movie (aside from the end scene) is the introduction of Batwoman.
