Just saw a wonderfully funny, charmingly romantic movie that somehow manages to also be a serious critique of how American corporate greed attempts to take advantage of Indian rice farmers. The movie is BASMATI BLUES.
Donald Sutherland is the sly Corporate CEO. Brie Larson and Utkarsh Ambudkar are the fairy-tale lovers whose singing and dancing scenes are far sweeter than anything in La La Land.
