La la is a genuinely spectacular movie. It is a musical which was not clear to me before I went in, but that just mad me even more excited to watch. La la land. La la is a love story between Gosling and Stone - a tale about a destined romance and chasing dreams set amidst a hotch potch of musical eras and themes.
It's a musical and visual smorgasbord - and the piano work by Gosling (real or produced) is amazing. the occasional dance scenes reinforced the nostalgia. Beautiful from beginning to end.
