Review of Ashik Kerib (1988) by Pavandeep S — 15 Aug 2010

A brilliant piece of art, really brilliant use of colours and environment to prove a tale from a cultural point of view, a surrealistic journey into traditions and culture. It's like Godard, " 1+1 = 2 but what does + means".

I may have quoted wrongly, but whatever, this film is one where each shot has a special meaning, able to stand up and work the whole film, for wht it is, a pure cinematic journey.
