Review of As Far As My Feet Will Carry Me (2001) by Ryan O — 10 Nov 2009
As Far As My Feet Will Carry Me is a fantastic WWII escape movie from Germany. While the story may seem familiar to most flims in its genre, it isnt. Based on a true story, this film is a fine display of the strenghth of the human spirit during times of turmoil.
Coupled with some great acting and fine cinematography, As Far As My Feet Will Carry Me is a journey to go on. The only flaw is at times, the pacing seems a little slow and some moments of peril seem to be over-the-top.
Nonetheless, a great film.
