Review of As Cool as I Am (2013) by Harriet B — 24 Jul 2013
Don't let the critics dissuade you from seeing this film! The two young leads are excellent. It's a sensitive script about a young girl who is far more mature than the parents who were too young when they had her. But there's a heroism about her and you know they must have done something right for her to turn out so strong and wise. In spite of the parents' disfunctional relationship, Lucy knows she's loved.
Good score, too. Go see it and decide for yourself!!
