Review of Arakimentari (2004) by Tim M — 18 Feb 2012
An interesting look at a legendary photographer. There's 57 minutes of him chatting in the extras if you really want more, but the film displays his background well. He played in a cemetery next to the red light district, where there was a mass grave for prostitutes.
He has a mother fixation and his wife died. It would have been nice to see a little bit more about him growing up in 1940's Japan in the heat exposure segment. An energetic and focused individual, kudos.
