Review of Animal (2014) by Bill S — 19 Jun 2014
It's influences couldn't be anymore obvious, but Animal succeeds where so many others have failed because it has style and a stand out creature. I can always appreciate a low budget monster effort bringing the best of it's B game.
The characters are from routine stock, with some tweaks here and there, but the writing isn't half bad. Even when it shamelessly borrows from it's better's it does so in an amusing way. If you're in the mood for an 80 minute time killer, I can enthusiastically recommend it.
