Review of American Heart (1992) by Nathan M — 25 Jan 2010
Grim and gritty drama set on the mean streets of Seattle follows Jeff Bridges as a recently released con trying to make good, and Edward Furlong, fresh from Terminator 2, as his impressionable young son.
Bridges and Furlong have great chemistry together, and while the material is rather cliched, the performances raise it above the ordinary tv-movie fare.
