Review of Alien Resurrection (1997) by Sebastien H — 06 Feb 2011

I am ending the alien quadrilogy with the movie directed by the french director.

We lost a lot of the charim and ambience of the trilogy. There is too much rythm and too much show and this kind of movie doesn't need it. There is also too much second degree humour/horror and actors lacking a lot of charism!!

Anyway some good ideas like the mutated alien, the multiples clones of ripley and also some amusing moments and some nice moments with the aliens.

Also sometimes the ambience in the ship is very good but its not very often.

I think doing a prequel is a very good idea and that it will close definitely the franchise.
