Review of Alien Resurrection (1997) by Donald W — 09 Oct 2011
This fourth of the Aliens movies had to stretch to come up with a premise. In the story they have to clone Ripley two hundred years in the future in order to bring her back. Then the story is a kind of Science Fiction Dungeons and Dragons story.
They bring together a group of characters in a large Space Ship (Dungeon) then the Monsters (Aliens) escape into the "Dungeon". The party of characters has to make their way through the Ship (Dungeon) fighting the Monsters (Aliens) all along the way in order to escape.
All that was missing was a treasure to capture. The special effects are good and the sound is good. There are some good twists to the Alien character with some new versions.
