Review of Alice in the Cities (1974) by Caterina C — 05 Oct 2008
Before Wing of Desire, and Paris Texas, there is Alice in the city. Wim Wenders explore his fascination about American cultures and his concern about the beginning of globalisation. The chemistry between Philip and Alice has brings a sweet harmony to the screen.
This is not only a heart-warming film, but it is a rich, soulful and compelling masterpiece.
