Review of Alice in the Cities (1974) by Gary B — 23 Jan 2009
A truly beautiful film. Few movies engage with the lyrical and the beautiful in an extended way since horror and violence sell more. This film is at once still and yet constantly engaged with motion. Truly affecting in addition with a central relationship that is explored with sensitivity.
The filming is to die for!
